Musical Color Tambola

So, here we go! Presenting our first Tambola game, but with a twist. We all love music, don’t we? So what better than incorporating our favourite songs in a game of housie. Excited already? Wait coz there’s another twist. We’ve also added colors to this game. To help you understand the game, let’s first have a look at the tambola ticket.

How to play?

Now take a print of this ticket. Do you notice that there are boxes demarcated with colors. Now write in your own numbers (1-90) in each of these boxes. All the 4 colors, red, blue, pink and green have 4 boxes each. So when your number is called out, mark/strike off with a pen like you do in your regular tambola game. Claim for the dividends, but with a song. Any claims made without singing the song will be considered boggy.

Dividends

  • Call for EARLY 4 when you’ve marked off atleast one number each of  all the colors, i.e red, blue, pink and green. But you have to call out with the song “Mere rang mein rangne wali pari ho ya ho pariyon ki rani”.

  • When all the numbers in the RED boxes have been marked off, call with the song “Lal dupatta ud gaya re mera hawa ke jhonke se”.

  • When all the numbers in the BLUE boxes have been marked off, call with the song “Neele neele ambar par chaand jab aaye”.

  • When all the numbers in the PINK boxes have been marked off, call with the song “Gulabi aankhein jo teri dekhi sharaabi yeh dil ho gaya”.

  • When all the numbers in the GREEN boxes have been marked off, call with the song “Dulhe ki saaliyon hare dupatte waaliyon”.

  • When all the numbers on your ticket have been marked off, claim for the HOUSE with the song “Rang de rang de rang de rang de mujhe rang de”.

Quick tip: Write all the numbers in a sequential / chronological order, to make them easy to locate.

This Musical Color Tambola is also perfect for a house party. So have your family and friends over, play around, sing along and just make merry.
